Trenton and Hannah are the Lead Pastors of Freshwater Church. In 2019, while Trenton was serving on staff at Evangel Church, God stirred his heart about planting a new church. After praying and seeking wisdom from various leaders, they knew they were suppose to take the step of faith and move to the Northshore of Chicago. In 2020, they made the move and began the work of building a new church in Evanston, IL. Trenton served for over eight years on staff at Evangel Church, as Student Ministries Pastor, Next Generation Pastor, and Executive Pastor. Prior to that, He interned at James River Church, in Springfield, MO, while attending Evangel University where he received his bachelors degree in Theology, with a minor in Leadership.
Trenton also has a passion for art and creativity. As founder of LAFFOON creative, he works with various clients to help them better define, design, and deliver their organization's vision through graphic design, branding, and content creation. Hannah works to homeschool and care for their five kids: Grady, Kennedy, Finn, Wyatt and Rae. She is also an artist with Seint Beauty, selling makeup and beauty products to women. Together they are helping people in the Chicago Northshore develop a meaningful relationship with Jesus and with others.

We have been married since May of 2012.
It's the perfect blend of big city and suburb feel, with an added flavor of college town. We love the local shops and restaraunts, being by the beach and the people are so great in this community!
Trenton is an avid golfer, grilling enthusiast, amateur craftsman and coffee addict.
Hannah loves reading, crafting, puzzles and games!
Together, they love to go on family adventures to the beach and the park!
We knew we wanted at least three kids. Early on, Hannah wanted seven, so we landed in the middle of that!
