We are a new church in the Chicago Northshore built on the life and teachings of Jesus.
In 2019, God put it in our hearts to plant a church for the future in the NorthShore of Chicago. After much prayer, and upon seeking the support and guidance from our mentors, family and friends, we knew it was not just an idea, but a God-given dream. We have said, many times, this was not the plan we would have picked, but we have come to realize that obedience to Christ is always better than comfort and control.
At the end of 2020, we announced that we were going on a journey to launch Freshwater Church. Since then, we have met dozens of new people, met in an Art Center, a donut shop, the park, the beach and our home. Every step of every day has felt orchestrated by God as we continue to help each person we meet experience the Freshwater of Jesus.
We will open our first ministry center in in Evanston in early 2023 where we will host weekly gatherings to help you find community and grow spiritually.
